Make Me a Monster is a children’s novelty picture book I designed, wrote, and illustrated. It was published by Chronicle Books in the fall of 2019, and is the fourth published children’s book I have done.
The concept for Make Me a Monster is that through the reader’s own doing, the book actually transforms into a friendly monster. I had so much fun promoting this project by giving “Monster” a voice and a personality. I created an Instagram travel journal of monster selfies that led up to the publishing date, as well as various other posters and announcements.
